GetSeenInAI vs. Profound: An Honest Head-to-Head for 2026

Last updated August 2026

TL;DR: Profound is the category leader in AI visibility, with $99, $399 and custom enterprise plans, nine answer engines at the top tier, and the deepest citation analytics anyone sells.[1] GetSeenInAI tracks ChatGPT today (Gemini and Perplexity are next), costs ₹3,999 a month, and is built for a founder or marketer in India who wants the daily score, the exact prompts, and a fix plan without an enterprise contract. If you have a US budget and nine engines to cover, Profound is the safer pick. If you sell in India and your whole AI budget is one lunch a week, read on.

Who each tool is for

Profound sells to enterprise brands and the agencies that serve them. Its public pricing page lists three tiers: Starter at $99 a month with ChatGPT-only tracking and 50 prompts, Growth at $399 a month with three answer engines and 100 prompts, and Enterprise on a custom quote with capability for up to nine engines including Claude.[1] It has raised around $155 million and was valued at a billion dollars in early 2026, so you are buying from a company that will still exist next year and ships fast.[2]

GetSeenInAI is a small team in Hyderabad. The free check runs 12 real ChatGPT questions for your category and shows the score, who wins each question, and the first moves. The paid workspace at ₹3,999 a month (roughly $45 to $50 at current rates) measures your brand every day, lets you track your own prompts, and turns lost questions into a checklist with drafted pages.

The three-second version

Mid tier $399/mo, 3 engines, 100 prompts[1] ₹7,999/mo, 2 brands

Teams, SSO, API Enterprise tier[1] Not yet

Where Profound is ahead

We wrote this table for ourselves first, so it is blunt.[3]

  • Engines. Nine at the top tier. We run one live engine today because we use official APIs and refuse to scrape chat interfaces. Gemini and Perplexity are built and waiting on keys, and we do not announce dates we cannot keep.
  • Citation depth. Profound drills from a cited domain to the page to the exact text chunk the engine used. We show cited domains, and only when the engine really cited something. In base-model mode there are no citations, and we say so instead of inventing them.
  • Prompt volumes. They license panel data and show per-platform volumes with demographics. We show modeled phrasings with relative interest tiers and label them as estimates.
  • FactCheck and agent analytics. Profound flags inaccurate claims AI makes about your brand and shows crawler traffic on your site. We have sentiment themes with verbatim excerpts, and the accuracy module is on our list.
  • Scale features. Teams, SSO, an API, an MCP server, CMS connectors. We have a WordPress draft push and one owner per workspace.

Where GetSeenInAI is different on purpose

  • The India lens is a product feature. Ask the same prompts as a buyer in Hyderabad and the leaderboard can change. In our own omega-3 test the national answer favoured a US brand and the Hyderabad variant put HealthKart first. Profound's regions are country-level.
  • Integrity is enforced in code, not in copy. Outreach targets can only be domains the engines actually cited. Drafts mark facts we do not have as [fill: ...] instead of guessing. Sentiment excerpts are quoted verbatim. No generated journalist names.
  • Price. ₹3,999 a month for daily tracking, tracked prompts with a mention history per prompt, opportunities, and drafts. That is a different order of magnitude from $399, and it is possible because one measurement of a topic serves every brand tracking it.
  • A public methodology. We publish how the score is computed and show run-to-run noise. You can disagree with the formula, but you can read it.
  • A real free check. Twelve live ChatGPT questions, no card, results in about a minute. The free checkers from the big SEO suites are one-off snapshots. Ours becomes the first day of your history the moment you sign up.

What the money buys, side by side

At $399 a month Profound Growth gives you three engines and 100 prompts. At ₹3,999 a month GetSeenInAI gives you one engine, up to 40 of your own prompts on top of the 12 we generate per topic, and the full action layer. If the second and third engines matter for your buyers today, that gap is worth the price difference. If your buyers are mostly asking ChatGPT, which is still the engine the Indian brands we talk to care about first, you are paying for coverage you will not read.

How to decide

Pick Profound if you have a multi-engine mandate, an enterprise procurement process, or an agency running ten client workspaces. Pick GetSeenInAI if you are the person who has to answer for this at one Indian brand, you want to see the exact questions and the exact answers, and you would rather spend the difference on fixing the gaps than on tracking more engines.

Either way, run the free check first. It is the same data we use, and it tells you in a minute whether AI visibility is even your problem yet.

FAQ

Does GetSeenInAI scrape ChatGPT? No. Every measurement goes through official APIs, which is why engine coverage grows slower than tools that scrape chat interfaces.

Can I export the data? Yes, every workspace exports answers as CSV.

Is ₹3,999 the permanent price? It is the launch price for early customers, and any change will be announced on the pricing page before it applies to anyone.

What does Profound cost for an agency? Third-party reviews report per-client workspaces at the Growth rate, with enterprise deployments quoted between $2,000 and $5,000 a month depending on engines and seats.[4] Confirm on their pricing page, because the figures move.
